Learning Tower Hack  How to build and use your own learning tower.       What’s is a learning tower?  A learning tower is a safe and sturdy step stool that can be used for children from ages 18 months to five years. It’s purpose is to make household interactions and learning experience safer, easier and more enjoyable for the children and parents as the children are level with the countertops. This makes it perfect for them to engage in the kitchen while also offering them a space to observe, participate and create in other activities around the home. These opportunities will help to encourage toddlers and children’s independence and kitchen skills. Things I wish I did during my labour and delivery

Things I regret during my labour and delivery:  This blog is hard for me to post as I know it’s no ones fault and it’s just how things happen but I fell it’s good to write how you feel. So here are some things I did not like about my labour experience.  Not having any calming aspects:  I remember before my labour I had this idea I would try to make my hospital environment as calming as possible. So I purchased led light candles and had a playlist all ready to go. But of course in the panic of things I forgot my candles and speaker pod. I wish now I had of taken these things to make myself feel more comfortable and relaxed. I also should have used the bath in the birthing suit more which I regret.  Forgetting the little touches:  I also regret forgetting the little things like a night light for your hospital room as my room was only pitch black or a very bright light. A GUIDE TO FORREST FREDERICK 16 MONTHS

A Guide to Forrest Frederick, 16 Months FEEDING : Milk - Forrest is currently still breast feeding mostly at night. For his milk drink during the day he has Pediasure drink (strawberry flavour)  in his sippy cup.  Solids - Forrest is now on three meal and two snacks a day of mashed baby food plus easy to eat finger foods. Foods consumed are Fruits and Veg ; pear, apple, banana, paw paw, blue berries, mango, sweet potato, potato, pumpkin, butternut squash, carrot, spinach, zucchini.  Also grains ; farex rice cereal, crackers, wheat bix, whole meal bread (mostley toast) and wafers. He has also likes tuna, mince and chicken.  He has tasted vegemite and strawberry jam.  He has his water from a sippy cup.  Forrest sits in his high chair for meals. I AM ONE

Today I am one. I have daddy’s light curly hair and mummy’s brown eyes  I now weigh close to 9kg and I love to eat! Three meals a day and too snacks.  My favourite foods are baby yogurt, apple, sweet potato, broccoli, rice crackers and hummus  I drink water and breast milk  I can drink from silly cup and straw I can say mama, dada, bubba, yum, yeah, this (diss) and fish (tith )  I can sit but I have never crawled I can walk if you hold my hands  I love to be outside and walk around everywhere.  My favourite things are sea creatures, musical instruments, books and Disney.  My favourite movie is Snow White  I can clap my hands and point  I take two naps a day  I am very happy and love to play                      I AM ONE!!
