My 3-6 moths must haves   As your baby grows and develops there are a few new item your may want to bring into your home for you baby. These are my 3-6 months must haves.  All of my previous must haves 0-3 months I still use all of these. So read my previous blog for those items.  Activity centre - I’m in love with my activity center by Skip hop. It allows my baby to jump and stand in a safe position while playing with lots of fun Toy’s that are attached! It also has a nice white base with just a pop of colour from the toys so it isn’t in your face and goes well in the home. I highly recommend it! Can be used from four months +  https://cdn3.bigcommerce.com/s-fh6ws/products/593/images/1985/Skip_Hop_Explore_More_3_Stage_Activity_Centre__65761.1474814129.1280.1280.jpg?c=2 Large activity gym - as my baby started to wiggle off his small play mat I original had for him I had to get him a larger one and of course I choose skip hop silver lining clouds ac...

HELP NEEDED- sleep issues

My baby is eight months old. Iv been working on getting him to sleep in his crib for basically these whole eight months.  He has never Co sleeper in the bed and has always been placed in seperate surface (basset as a newborn) and cot now.  He is quiet easy to get to sleep if in my arms, it usually only takes 5-10minutes for him to fall asleep and he doesn’t really try to fuss or fight it. He is content and happy to fall asleep for naps and night time sleep if in my arms. He will only nap for long periods of time (1hour-1 hour 30 mins) if he is cradled in my arms. If I put him the cot once he is asleep he will only sleep for a short period (about 20minutes.) if I try to put him in the cot drowsy but awake he flippes out. He screams, he bangs his head on side of cot, he kicks the cot. He becomes very distressed.  I have tried nap training and sleep training many times since he turned 5 months old with no luck. Iv tried the control cry out method recommended to me by ...

I just thought a baby will suck milk from a bottle right? Boy was I wrong.  Giving your baby a bottle is very hard for most people. (Unless you have an angle baby) so below are some tips on how to get your baby to take a bottle   Select right bottle for your baby;   Now this is very important, you have to make sure the bottle you chose is for the correct age group (eg. newborn) it will have specific teat and flow that is designed for that age. The bottle also has to fit your babies needs. If you baby has Colic opt for a Colic bottle which reduces the amount of air bubbles you baby sucks in. There are also bottles for pre...
